How is DKP awarded and how does one accumulate DKP?Essentially, we use a fixed pricing system. Each item costs a certain amount and cannot change.
We use whats called zerosum. Basically, when someone buys an item, the price of that item is divided amongst the raiders (including the buyer).
EX. Piece costs 25 DKP in a 25 man raid.
25 DKP รท 25 people = Everyone gains 1 DKP.How much DKP do all the different items cost?Tier Tokens and Trophies (ToC) = 25 DKP
Trinkets and Cloaks = 20 DKP
Armor Pieces = 15
Misc. = 10
Weapons = 10
Armor Pieces include everything that is classified as either Cloth, Leather, Mail, or Plate (Head, Shoulders, Chest, Bracers, Gloves, Belt, Pants, & Boots)
Misc. Pieces include Rings and Necklaces.
F.A.Q.Q. Do I get DKP for items that go to offset or disenchant?
A. No, If an item gets disenchanted or goes to an off set, no DKP is given out.
Q. If I get 1 piece during the raid and have sufficient DKP to purchase another am I limited to that 1 piece?
A. No, you are not limited to 1 piece a run but we do ask to be considerate to those interested in the item.
Q. How much DKP will I get for each type of item?
A. Assuming we have a full raid at the time loot is given out one will get 1 DKP for a tier piece awarded, 0.8 DKP for a trinket or a cloak, 0.6 DKP for an armor piece, and 0.4 DKP for a weapon or a jewelery piece.
Q. Do I get DKP for all raids?
A. No, DKP is given out for 25 main raids only.
Q. If I have multiple characters is the DKP I earn combined between them all?
A. No, If you CHOOSE to bring your alt, then DKP is separate between toons. However if you are asked to bring your alt for the good of the raid then DKP is combined between that toon and your main.
